Terminology

You – means the person to whom is agreeing with the terms and conditions

Photographer – The person who took or created the image

‘The Waste Project’ – the company and its owners

Terms and Conditions

By uploading an image you grant ‘The Waste Project’ and its affiliates a worldwide license to use this image for permitted commercial purposes, defined as:

  • advertising, promotion, brochures, packaging
  • as part of a commercial website for promotional purposes
  • prints, posters, flyers, tear sheets for promotional purposes
  • prints, posters, or other commercial display of image
  • magazines, books, newspapers, other printed publications
  • video, broadcast, theatrical

The uploaded and submitted text are separate entities and can be used separately.

By submitting text with your image you grant ‘The Waste Project’ and its affiliates a worldwide license to use the text commercial purposes, defined as:

  • advertising, promotion, brochures, packaging
  • as part of a commercial website for promotional purposes use
  • prints, posters, flyers, tear sheets for promotional purposes
  • prints, posters, or other commercial display of image
  • magazines, books, newspapers, other printed publications
  • video, broadcast, theatrical

By submitting text you are allowing ‘The Waste Project’ to quote you and use your submitted name in connection with the submitted text.

Any submitted photos or captions that are seen as unsuitable, offensive, vulgar, contains pornography or immoral will be deleted and no refund will be given

All money will be spent at the discretion of ‘The Waste Project’ and its owners.

You shall not upload or post onto the Website, or use the Website to transfer, any Work or other material or content that is libellous or slanderous or otherwise defamatory, obscene or indecent.

You shall not upload or post onto the Website, or use the Website to transfer, any Work or other material or content that contains or constitutes viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code with malicious, disruptive and/or destructive features.

You shall not upload or use in your image any material that is under copyright.

All images and text must be owned by you the photographer.

You, the Photographer retain all rights, license, copyright, title and ownership of the image(s)

If any image or quote is found to be breaking copyright or any other law ‘The Waste Project’ will delete all those material immediately without warning or contact with you the uploader.

Any legal issues regarding uploaded images and text is answerable only to you the uploader.

The term ‘The Waste Project’ is used as a broad term for the project and includes every aspect of the project, the company and its owners.

‘The Waste Project’ is the current name of the company but can be changed at any time. If the name changes the company and project retains all the rights stated in these terms and conditions.

Under no circumstances will a refund be granted.

All images and videos are concept and computer generated. ‘The Waste Project’ may have no resemblance to these concepts once completed.

All information and images on this website are the property of ‘The Waste Project’ its affiliates and its owners.

You ‘the uploader’ retain the right to have your submitten name included in the list of founders for the entirety of the project.

We guarantee the ‘Picture a Change’ photo album will be online and publicly available for two years after its launch. Therefore available until June 1st 2011.

By giving ‘the waste project’ you email address you are allowing them to send you information about the project and its affiliates.

To become a business founder you must pay £500 through the business payment method.

Any business founder has the right to upload their logo.

‘the waste project’ may use all business logos and images in the same way as normal uploads.
