The main building

Built from the 20ft shipping containers we see on the back of lorries and containerships, it will make a dramatic statement. The containers will be second hand and will be returned after the project to continue their more usual role. This will dramatically reduce the carbon footprint for the main structure.

We hope in the future to open The Waste Project in other cities throughout the world. This design allows us to recreate the structure with locally sourced materials rather than transporting the London building. Reducing the effects on the planet is the number one target for The Waste Project.
